How to Change the Engine Oil on a BMW F10

Changing the engine oil and its filter is a very simple operation. This routine maintenance task is similar on the vast majority of cars. Today, you will learn how to perform this procedure on a 2015 BMW 5 Series. Start by lifting the car and then open the hood to remove the oil filter cap. After removing the cap, you can take out the filter. Next, remove the oil pan plug located on the underside of the car, let all the oil drain out, and then close the plug. At this point, insert a new filter in the filter housing and top off the oil in the reservoir, as shown in the video.
