Model: BMW Serie 5
E39
- Years 1995-2003 In this video tutorial the engine oil level sensor of a BMW 5 Series is replaced. First, make sure that the oil pan has been completely emptied. It is also important that the operation takes place with the engine completely cold. Once the old sensor has been disassembled by unscrewing the fixing bolts with a 10 mm wrench, detach the wiring and then mount a new sensor, fixing it again with the small 10 mm bolts. Re-establish the sensor connection. Only at this point can you refill the sump with new engine oil.
