In this video, we can see how to change the fan motor of the BMW X5 E70, which is located in the terminal part of the passenger side footwell: we will need to remove the lower panel, taking out the screws that hold it in place, and disconnecting the electrical connectors.

In front of the component, we will find the air duct, which we will also need to remove.

Now we see the fan motor, and we have to remove all the screws we see to take it out. We can find the new motor, for example, on AliExpress with the code 1005004910034833 at a price of 56.69 euros + 45.53 euros for shipping. Let's put it back in place and then screw all the screws back in. Now all that's left is to put the air duct, the connectors, and then the partition back in place.
