How to replace the gear knob in the BMW 3 Series?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear knob in the BMW 3 Series, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the car, then, using preferably a plastic spatula in order not to leave marks, we unhook the base of the gear lever boot by levering along the entire perimeter. We then disconnect the connector just released, grab the knob and separate it from the shaft by pulling it forcefully upwards. At this point, all that remains is to position any spare parts and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
