How to remove the rear seats in a BMW 5 Series? Follow this procedure: enter the rear of the vehicle and lift the rear seat cushion (pressing upward). Using a socket wrench, remove the securing bolts located on the metal tracks of the backrest (perform the same operation on the other side of the backrest). After removing the securing bolts, remove the bolts at the back of the backrest (in the trunk area). Pull the backrests out of the vehicle (unclip the seat belts). Install the new seats in the vehicle.
