Here is a quick guide on how to easily remove the glove compartment console located in front of the gear shift in a BMW E46. First, open the door by simply pressing on any point of its lower part with a finger; once open, insert your hand with the palm facing up and press on the top of the console, then pull it towards you. To reinstall the console, simply reinsert it (keeping it in the starting position) and press until you hear a double "clack."
