The following tutorial video shows the steps to reset the maintenance light on a 2014 BMW X5. To perform the reset operation, press the button on the left side of the instrument cluster; the display will show the setting symbols, so release the button and press and hold the "oil change" option.

Keep the button pressed until the reset of the light is complete; once the procedure is finished, release the button and return to the main menu to restart the instrument cluster.

If the light does not reset, it is necessary to visit a shop for a computerized diagnosis.
