Replace Shift Knob on BMW 3 Series

Remove the damaged shift knob from a BMW 3 Series. Take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until you remove it from the shift lever. Remove the leather boot frame if damaged. Install the new leather boot and secure the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the center console until it is tight. Finally, test the movement of the lever in the center console to ensure the knob is properly installed. The knob you are replacing consists of two pieces.
