Removing the Centre Tunnel on BMW Z3

How to remove the centre tunnel? Let's see how to do it. Pry off the storage compartment located above the centre tunnel and remove the leather gear gaiter. After removing the plastic storage compartment, take out the buttons and various air knobs. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the fastening pins located at the rear of the centre tunnel (if present). Once this is done, pull the tunnel away and disconnect any power cables. Fit the new piece into the centre tunnel space, reassemble all components of the storage compartment as they were removed earlier. Connect all electrical connectors for proper operation.
