Replacing Key Battery on BMW 3 Series

If your ignition key is not working anymore, it likely needs a battery replacement. Know that it costs very little and this small maintenance task is truly within everyone's reach. Remove the manual key from the fob by pressing the designated button on the back. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into the now exposed part and pry it open. Voila! At this point, you are already facing the sought-after battery. Pry underneath the battery with the same flathead screwdriver, remove the battery, and replace it with a new one you purchased.
