How to Open the Fuel Cap on BMW E60

How do you open the fuel door on a BMW 5 Series? Let's see how to open the door and how to change the locking mechanism. Open the fuel door located on the side of the vehicle (press on the door to open it): you will find the black plastic fuel cap: unscrew it and remove it from the filler neck (attach the cap to the door). If the lock is damaged, detach it using a removal tool and replace it. Secure the lock with the rubber gasket. Close the fuel door using the designated button (press the door until it clicks shut).
