How to replace the rear speakers of the BMW 3 Series E91

Model: BMW Serie 3 E90, E92, E91 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Speaker

The guide shows how to replace the rear door speakers on the BMW 3 Series E91. The first operation consists in disassembling the finishing plastic on the armrest of the door using a lever for plastic; then it is necessary to remove the plastic of the handle, in order to reveal the screw to be removed. Unscrew the three Torx with a T20 screwdriver on the top of the handle and behind it and in the armrest. The interior door panel can now be removed with the help of the plastic lifter. At this point it is necessary to remove the cables from the panel. Loudspeaker removal is done by unscrewing the three 8 mm nuts and disconnecting the tweeter cable. This last element is held in position by a screwed crown; after training this piece, it is possible to remove the tweeter from the housing. Replacement parts install in the same way that old parts were taken apart.
