Remove the BMW interior rearview mirror

Removing the interior rear view mirror can be useful if you need to clean your windshield or if it may have been damaged or worn by some impact or simple sunlight. On BMW cars the procedure is very simple. With a flat tool separate the two halves that cover the central bolt where the rearview mirror is attached, you can also use a screwdriver. After that, if the mirror also contains electrical connections for lighting or warning lights, remove the connections. Finally, to remove the mirror, gently hold and rotate to allow the mirror to come out of its insert that holds it firmly to the windshield.
