BMW Serie 3 - Video tutorial

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Coolant temperature sensor
Operation: How to replace the coolant temperature sensor on a BMW 3 Series

Before we can start, we will have to go to open the front hood of our BMW 3 Series. Let's start by disconnecting the electrical connector of the sensor, simply by pulling it towards us. Once this is done, we will have to unhook the metal clamp connected to the sleeve located near the sensor. At this point, we will have to press the clip connected to the connector located in the upper part of the sensor, and then remove it. When we have completed this step, we will have to go and press the side clips of the sensor, thus freeing it. Once we have freed the sensor, we can go to remove it, and we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new sensor and close it, all we have to do is follow these steps in reverse, and we will have completed the replacement.
