How to Replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor in a BMW 3 Series?

In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the coolant temperature sensor in a BMW 3 Series, a very simple operation. First, to work safely, wait for the engine to cool completely. Then, open the hood, remove the cap from the expansion tank, and locate the sensor, which is positioned on the upper left side of the engine. At this point, disconnect the connector and remove the sensor with a 22mm wrench, being careful of any fluid that may spill. Quickly insert the replacement part and tighten it securely.
