Model: BMW Serie 3
E91, E90, E92
- Years 2005-2013 In this tutorial we can see how to replace the coolant temperature sensor in the BMW 3 Series, very simple operation. First of all, in order to operate safely, we wait for the engine to cool down completely, then open the hood, unscrew the cap of the expansion tank and locate the sensor in question, located on the upper left area of the engine. At this point we disconnect the connector and unscrew the sensor with a 22mm wrench, paying attention to any liquid leakage. We quickly insert the replacement and tighten it firmly.
