The ABS prevents wheel lockup during braking to maintain directional stability and ensure vehicle maneuverability. A malfunction can trigger the corresponding warning light.

For proper operation, sometimes it may be enough to disconnect the sensor and clean all the dirt accumulated on the surface where it was located. Other times, this operation alone may not suffice.

In this case, you must replace the sensor, ensuring to clean its mounting screw and add a wire harness before reinstalling the fasteners.

To reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Jeep Renegade, inflate the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure: this value is indicated on the sticker attached to the driver’s door pillar.
