Removing the External Rearview Mirror

To remove the external rearview mirror, you must first take off the door panel to access the wiring connector for the electric adjustment control. Once you have removed the panel and disconnected the connector, take off the triangular plastic cover located right at the mirror and unscrew the mounting pins; one is located behind the door seal. At this point, you can remove the mirror and repair or replace it as needed. Proceed in reverse for reinstallation, carefully repositioning the cable.
