How to Remove the Interior Rearview Mirror

To remove the interior rearview mirror, you will need a metal hook to perform the operation. First, remove the plastic tab located at the driver's position. Next, disconnect the wires and detach them. Now, gently unscrew the mirror counterclockwise and detach it. To install a new mirror, simply reattach it in the reverse order of removal, then reconnect the wires and snap the previously removed plastic cover back in place.
