Once the exterior rear-view mirror has been removed from the door, it can be completely disassembled by separating all its components: start by unhooking the mirror from its support by pulling it forward enough to disconnect the power supply wires from the defrosting system; then remove the mirror support which houses the motor and the adjustment mechanism inside it; then unhook the cap, the external support plate and then the support hinge that allows the closing of the mirror itself, removing the relative wiring.

Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD gearbox oil replacement

Let's see in this guide the main steps to be able to change the transmission oil of the second series Fiat Ducato, with 2.8 JTD engine. First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
