Removing the Ashtray from the Door Panel

Once the door panel is removed, it is fairly simple to complete the disassembly of its components. The glove compartment, which contains the ashtray, is glued to the panel from the inside: by prying along the edges, it can be easily detached. Open the ashtray lid, remove the container from inside, and check for any mounting screws at the bottom; they may also be present from the outside. In any case, completing the disassembly is very straightforward. To reassemble or better yet, re-glue the glove compartment, it is recommended to use hot glue.
