How to detach the shark fin antenna of the BMW X1

Model: BMW X1 F48 - Years 2015-2022

The guide shows how to remove the shark fin antenna on the BMW X1. No special tools are required to perform this operation, but just use a plastic lever and adhesive tape to protect the bodywork. Using a Torx screwdriver, remove the locking screw from the receptive element. Carefully slide out to avoid damaging the electrical connections and disconnect the cables. Fit the new reception element and put everything back in place. Before closing the antenna cover completely, check the operation.
