Removing Your Car's Radio

Model: BMW Z4 E85, E86 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Car stereo

This guide shows how to change your car's radio in a few simple steps. Using a screwdriver, insert a lever on the sides of the radio to release the internal clips and pull the radio towards you. Once the radio is removed, disconnect the connectors located behind it by pulling them outward. You also need to disconnect the antenna, which will be reconnected later as it serves as the radio signal. During installation, reconnect the connectors, which all have standard fittings. Finally, insert the new radio so that it fits perfectly.
