Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Car stereo

To remove the original factory car radio, first, you need to take off the climate control knobs. Using a plastic lever or a small flathead screwdriver with the tip wrapped in electrical tape, pry on the sides of the climate control console and pull it out of its place. At this point, you can access the screws securing the car radio: once unscrewed, pull the radio slightly forward to reach the connectors and disconnect them (the larger one has a bayonet lock: just rotate it to release).

Replacing the Timing Belt on a Land Rover Freelander

Prepare to replace the timing belt on a Land Rover Freelander: lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the timing belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the correct tension is achieved on the belt (previously fitted). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten all previously removed components with a socket wrench.
