Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

First, consider that some components of the car radio and navigation system (CD changer, DVD map reader) are located in the trunk, on the side: if you decide to completely disassemble the system, you will also need to remove these units, and the disassembly of the display must be done by removing the central trim of the dashboard and the air vents. If you only want to remove the display, you need the special extraction keys: these are metal bars with a beveled edge; once the display is tilted, insert the keys into the appropriate slots corresponding to the two lower edges, with the bevel facing inward: once inserted fully, they will release the display's retaining springs and allow for extraction.
