How to Remove the Engine Oil Cooler from a BMW

Learn how to remove the engine oil cooler from a BMW. Remove the engine cover to identify the component. To take off the cover, unscrew three screws. Also, remove the ventilation duct, where you will find an electrical connector, which you will disconnect. Remove the two screws from the duct and take it out to make space. Now you can access the oil cooler. Remove the clips holding the pipes that carry oil to the cooler and drain the oil contained within. Now you can unscrew it and take it out, along with its gasket.
