BMW Serie 5 - Video tutorial

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Headlight
Operation: Headlight replacement

In some cars it is possible to replace the headlight independently without necessarily having to resort to the help of a specialist in the sector. If the car has been started, it is advisable to wait at least an hour before starting to work on it, in order to avoid getting burned by the heat. The light to be changed is connected to the bodywork with screws and to the battery with cables. First of all, the plugs of the light cables must be removed and, subsequently, with a Phillips screwdriver, the internal screws of the light that bind it to the bodywork must be removed. The old light must be removed by pushing the part of the light inside the bonnet outwards and the new light can be inserted in the housing where the old one was previously placed, trying to fit it perfectly.
