Removing the Window Regulator Mechanism

To install the new window regulator mechanism, first remove the door panel and the underlying soundproofing material: to remove the panel, take off the cover of the inner handle, unscrew the underlying screws, and disengage the clips. Once the panel is removed, lower the glass to access the glass mounting clips, loosen the pins, and pull out the glass (one of the pins is accessible from the outside by removing the door trim); then proceed to remove the nuts securing the window regulator mechanism, disconnect the power connector from the motor, and extract the mechanism from the door.
