How to Replace the Emblem on the Hood

Sometimes, exposing your car to weather events and/or frequent high-pressure washes can cause some emblems to become dull or deteriorate. In this video, for example, you will replace the emblem on the hood. As you can see from the images, you need to gently pry around the emblem bit by bit. Carefully, without applying too much force to avoid damaging the body, remove the emblem. Note that the two plastic clips may remain in the mounting holes and can also be provided with the new replacement. Clean the surface around the clips thoroughly. Position the new emblem and push it all the way down. Now, just remove the protective film. Car model: BMW E65 745 Year: 2003
Required tools: an old plastic card, a plastic tool to remove the panel clips, a cleaning product, and a cloth.
