Under the engine compartment, there is a plastic cover that protects the engine from splashes while driving on wet roads and also serves to shield it from small debris. If maintenance requires access to the lower part of the engine, you must remove this cover: lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and unscrew the fastening screws located around the perimeter of the cover to remove it. Then, reverse the process for reinstallation, ensuring the retaining clips are in place.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
