Instructions for Removing the Climate Control Panel

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

To remove the climate control panel, you need to take off some elements of the dashboard: at this stage, be particularly careful not to damage (scratch or dent) these elements. Start by removing the air vents, both those located in the center console under the display and the side vent; continue by removing the central dashboard trim pieces, then unscrew the mounting screws of the lower dashboard trim on the passenger side, where the CD player is integrated; finally, remove the frame around the ignition key slot and the start button to complete the disassembly of the climate control panel.
