Removing Front Air Vents

Model: BMW Serie 7 MK 3, E38 - Years 1994-2001

To remove the front air vents located at the center of the console, which also integrate a fan inside, you will need to disassemble several elements of the console as well as the instrument cluster to access the power supply connector for the fan. Once you have removed the elements in the console (radio and climate control), and the grille located at the center of the dashboard, proceed to remove the instrument cluster by unscrewing the fastening screws and also removing the shell that covers the upper part of the turn signal controls. At this point, you can reach the connector and disconnect it to complete the removal of the air vents.
