To remove the front grille from the hood, instead of detaching the individual chrome frames containing the grille, you can completely disassemble it by following these steps: open the hood and locate the screws securing the grille; start with the screws at both ends, then remove the latch mechanism located in the center of the grille, followed by the last two pins next to the bracket of this latch mechanism; at this point, you can remove the grille by disengaging it from the alignment pins.
