Removing the Center Burl Wood Trim

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

To remove the burl wood trim covering the center section of the dashboard, first remove the side air vent on the passenger side; beneath the vent, there is a fastening nut for the trim itself. Two additional clips are located in the center area, above the central air vents: to access them, remove the grille located directly above the central air vents, in front of the console display. Once these two clips are removed, you can detach the trim.
