Instructions for Door Panel Removal

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

Removing the door panel is fairly simple. Start by locating the screws that secure it. Remove the caps along the armrest, the one inside the handle opening, and the one on the panel that says "SRS AIRBAG". Then, unscrew the underlying screws and detach the clips along the edges of the panel using a plastic trim tool. This will allow you to pull the panel away from the door by sliding it off the lock. Next, disconnect the connectors and the lock cable to complete the removal.
