Removing the Rear Speaker

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

To remove the rear speaker, first take off the door panel. Start by removing the two square plugs located below the wood trim covering the armrest area of the panel, and then the circular plug found inside the handle opening. Next, unscrew the screws underneath to remove the handle along with its trim. At this point, you can complete the removal of the door panel by disengaging the retaining clips along the edges to access the speaker. Remove the speaker by unscrewing the mounting screws and disconnecting the connector.
