Removing the Rear Door Panel

Model: BMW Serie 7 E66, E67, E68, E65, MK 4 - Years 2001-2008

To remove the rear door panel, first locate the corresponding fastening screws: along the strip covering the central armrest support on the panel, there are two snap-on caps that need to be removed; another smaller cap is then applied inside the frame covering the opening handle: once the cap is removed, unscrew the underlying screw and take off the frame with the handle by disconnecting the lock cable; at this point, pry along the edges of the panel to release the pressure clips to complete the removal, then disconnect the connector for the window switch.
