How do you replace the side window mechanism of the NMW Series 1 version E81? We need to remove the door panel, starting from the handle trim, unscrewing the two screws we will find underneath it, then we will remove the window switch, disconnecting the electrical switch and exposing the fixing screw.

Now, using a plastic spatula, pull towards us the inner door panel, disconnect the electrical connectors found in the rear, and remove the clips holding the intermediate panel, exposing the inner part of the door, where the window mechanism is located.

Disconnect the electrical connectors and then unscrew the support screws of the mechanism. Then remove the mechanical part with a specific key, and unscrew the entire mechanism by removing the fixing screws located at the bottom and top of the door.

We can find the new mechanism, for example on Amazon with the code B0C1V97QLY at the price of 75.98 euros, free delivery. Reassemble everything following the reverse procedure and we will have completed our work.
