Model: BMW Serie 7 E38, MK 3 - Years 1994-2001
Part: Airbags
Operation: Removing the passenger seat airbag sensor

The passenger side seat is equipped with a sensor capable of detecting the presence of the seated passenger and therefore activating the relative airbag in the event of an impact (if no one is seated on the passenger seat, it is useless to detonate this airbag too. case of impact); the sensor is located just under the seat, near the backrest: to be able to disassemble it, it is easier to disassemble the seat since it is a question of unscrewing the four fixing pins and disconnecting the socket below; once the seat has been removed from the passenger compartment, straighten the metal tabs that secure the leather upholstery of the seat to intercept the sensor and release it by turning it clockwise and then disconnect the relative sockets.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery.
