How to Replace the Antenna Grommet on a 1989 BMW E30

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the antenna grommet on a 1989 BMW E30 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is purchase a new grommet from an authorized auto parts dealer. Remove the antenna mounting hardware from inside the trunk. Once the mounting hardware is removed, you can take out the antenna from its housing by applying slight downward pressure. Use a pair of pliers to remove the antenna grommet from its housing. Clean the area where the grommet will be inserted, then insert the new antenna grommet, using the pliers to ensure it fits completely in place (see video). Reposition the antenna and screw in the mounting hardware.
