Failure and / or wear of the transmission cardan joints result in a sort of snap that is felt mainly in the starting phase; in order to remove and replace the transmission it is necessary to lift the car (better on the bridge rather than on the stands), lower the exhaust pipe by removing the various anchoring points, then remove the heat shield placed between the muffler and the frame and move on to disassembly of the transmission; it is a question of removing the fixing pins of the flanges (front and rear) and those of the central support; then proceed backwards to install the new transmission (you can also opt for a remanufactured one).

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
