Location of the Fuse Boxes in the BMW 3 Series

Let's see where the fuse box is located in a BMW E46 3 Series. Sit in the front passenger seat and open the glove compartment directly in front of you. On either side of the top of the compartment, there are two white plastic levers, one on each side, which you will rotate ninety degrees to release the panel where the fuses are located.

To assist with checking and replacing, there is a card in the panel that shows the arrangement of the fuses. Once you have completed the necessary tasks, reposition the fuse panel and secure it with the white levers.
