Car Stereo Removal Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 7 MK 2, MK 3, E32, E38 - Years 1986-1994

The car stereo is located at the bottom of the center console. To remove it, simply pull it out of its slot: start by disengaging the trim around the stereo to access the side retaining tabs. At this point, use a small screwdriver to press on the springs and release them, then slide the stereo forward to remove it. Once removed, complete the disassembly by disconnecting the rear plugs, including the antenna plug. Make sure you have the activation code for the subsequent power-up.
