How to Replace the Timing Chain on a BMW 3 Series?

To replace the timing chain on a BMW 3 Series, open the hood to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to remove the screws that secure the cover on the top and front of the engine block to access the chain around the respective sprockets. By unscrewing the bolts that hold the sprockets and the tensioner, you can completely remove the timing chain and replace it with a new one. After the replacement, reinstall all the components that were removed earlier.
