Today, discover the steps to remove and replace the timing chain on the BMW 3 Series, following the instructions below. First, open the hood of your car and start by removing the serpentine belt, loosening the tensioner; then remove the timing cover and take off the cylinder head cover, allowing you to subsequently remove the timing chain, as shown in the video. At this point, install the original timing chain, ensuring the engine is timed correctly; finally, reassemble the cylinder head cover.
