Sun Visor Removal Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

To remove the passenger side sun visor, start by disconnecting it from the left support. Then, remove the triangular plastic cover that covers the right support. Next, unscrew the underlying screws and pull the sun visor away enough to disconnect the connector that powers the vanity light (the one that turns on when you open the mirror in the sun visor). If you also want to remove the left support from the headliner, use a small screwdriver to open the side caps to access the corresponding mounting screws and then unscrew them.
