How to Wash and Polish a Chrome Rim

To make a chrome rim shine again, you need plenty of patience and elbow grease; the right products are certainly essential, but what is truly required is the care to apply them with meticulous patience and skill. Start by rinsing the rim with plain water to remove the most superficial dirt; then spray a dedicated wheel cleaner and use a brush to allow it to penetrate deeply, rinsing afterward (repeat if necessary). At this point, begin polishing with the appropriate pastes for chrome surfaces: there is cotton soaked in the polish that should be applied over the entire surface, wait for it to oxidize, and then remove it with a soft cloth (this will also eliminate any rust marks). After cleaning, finish with a polishing wax.
