Replacing Car Seats

Model: BMW Serie 7 MK 3, E38 - Years 1994-2001
Part: Seat

If you have some manual skills and want to save some money, this guide explains how to replace car seats simply. Before replacing the seats in a car, remove the bolts that hold them securely to the floor of the vehicle. If there are electrical wires, disconnect them. The third step to remove the seats from your car is to take off the plastic parts that complete the cushion mounted on the front seat frame. Flip the seat over and remove the bolts that connect the cushion to the frame. At this point, you need to remove the J-hooks and the headrest. Just press the buttons and simultaneously pull the element until it comes out completely.
