How to Open a Stuck Fuel Flap on a BMW 1 Series

Here are the instructions to open a stuck fuel flap on a BMW 1 Series, as well as on the 3 Series and 5 Series. First, open the boot lid and start removing the right-hand side carpeted cover to access the internal part of the cap and the fuel flap; then pull the emergency release mechanism for the flap, unlocking it externally as shown in the video. Proceed to repair or replace the fuel flap.
