How to Open the Fuel Door on a BMW X5?

Model: BMW X5 G05, G18 - Years 2019-2026

On the BMW X5, to open the fuel door, press the designated button located inside the cabin, on the lower left part of the dashboard near the steering column: the button will have the classic gasoline pump icon. Pressing it will unlock the fuel door, allowing you to open it to remove the cap underneath and refuel. If the fuel door is stuck, you can perform the emergency unlock procedure: remove the side panel of the trunk located next to the fuel door and pull the green cord underneath.
