How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 2 Series

The service light on the BMW 2 Series resets after the vehicle has undergone a service at the shop. To reset the light, turn on the ignition and connect the diagnostic computer to the vehicle's OBD port. Next, select "Specific Functions", "Maintenance", and "Service". Wait a few seconds and select F1, then wait for it to load and select F4. To complete the reset of the light, select F8. Once finished, turn off the ignition, disconnect the OBD connector, and restart the vehicle to verify that the reset was successful.
